Up for sale is this gorgeous 1940 Plymouth P-9 Coupe. It has been totally restored.I have installed a 12 volt system with an Alternator The engine is extremely quiet. It idles perfectly.No smoke . Does not burn oil. the car stops straight no pulling. The steering wheel is centered nice and straight and tight,
I installed the Pertronix Ignition System . With the heavy duty Pertronix Coil. New heavy duty Battery, New plugs and wires. The car shifts smoothly. The clutch is new . The king pins are new. The front end is all redone. Just pull the choke out and the car starts on the first try. The interior is perfect upholstery is perfect no rips or tears. the dash is perfect. All the gauges work perfectly. The heater and defroster work. glass is excellent.The headliner is like new.This car comes with the bullet proof 201-- 84 HP engine mated to a 3 speed on the column.The stainless and chrome are excellent. The trunk is all rust free. It comes with the correct rubber trunk mat as does the front of the car. it has the proper 1940 rubber floor mat. The tires are Vintage Goodyear. The exhaust system is excellent.. The original hub caps are excellent. I have installed an AM/FM Cassette radio.The door handles do not sag. The doors close crisply.This car goes down the road straight as an arrow. I have the clear title ..Owners manual. The repair book. Lots of paperwork as to what's been done on the car. I also have a few different dealership booklets that go with the car. Plus plenty of extra parts. The horn blows loud. The lights inside and out are very bright. you can drive this car at night.
