For sale in our St. Louis showroom is this gorgeous three owner Frost Blue 1968 Plymouth Road Runner. Plymouth paid Warner Bros. $50,000 to use the likeness and name of their famed Road Runner cartoon character. This particular Road Runner has a 440 cubic inch power plant, bored 0.30" over, with just 800 miles on it since it was rebuilt. The 727 TorqueFlite transmission was also recently rebuilt. This car was professionally rotisserie restored with photo documentation over a five year period. The interior is just as nice as the exterior, having been restored as well. The original styling of the interior remains, with the addition of a modern AM/FM CD player, and Vintage Air, to give a touch of modern comfort to the classic boldness of this Mopar. In addition, it has a fiberglass removable hood. In 1968, Road Runners had the insignia of the character and were optioned with the purple beep-beep horn. This Mopar came stock with a map and glove box light which was rare in this year. To view the Mopar in greater detail including a video of it running and driving please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com or our St. Louis showroom. For additional information please call 618-271-3000. BEEP, BEEP!
