1962 Plymouth Savoy For Sale. This beautiful Savoy has had only 1,200mi since its restoration. Purchased out of Texas then disassembled, striped and meticulously restored to this show piece. The body was intended to be painted the original color but when it was time to make the decision it was painted black to showoff how straight the body is. This car is powered by a 440CID V-8 that has been bored .30 over and is equipped with Edelbrock aluminum heads, Edelbrock intake, MSD billet distributor a Holly 850 carburetor and Doug Thorley fender well headers with cutouts. The engine is hooked to a Richmond 5-speed transmission that is spinning a Dana 60 rear-end with 4:11 gears. The interior has been kept stock with blue cloth seats that helps sell the sleeper appearance of this monster. This car was built as a tribute to the 60s hot-rodding days and it defiantly has accomplished that.
