| I have a 1980 Pontiac Firebird Espirit. According to the original build sheet, she was built in Van Nuys, California and sold new at a Pontiac Dealership in Santa Barbara, so yes, she is a California girl and there is next to no rust. The owner before me saw fit to replace the original six cylinder drive train and pour money into the interior, suspension, and body. She has a warmed-over 1990 350 Corvette engine with a large bump stick for a good lope, a rebuilt TH 350 transmission and a new 10-bolt posi rear end, so high way merging is easy. A lot of time and money went into this car, as is evident by the receipts for parts and labor, which will be included along with the build sheet, original owners manual, and spare keys.
