This 1967 Pontiac GTO was discovered in a garage after being in dry storage for an estimated 10-20 years and after 3 months is now ready to be enjoyed. It features the original 400 CI V8 engine, 4 speed manual Muncie transmission, Hurst Shifter and Sure Grip differential.
Other options include bucket seats, sport steering wheel, floor console, after-market stereo system and Rally 1 wheels. The car has been inspected front to rear and serviced as needed. The engine, transmission, differential, brakes and suspension are all in excellent condition. The floor and frame are solid with no rot or flaking. The body is straight with excellent paint, chrome and vinyl roof. The interior is like new. This is a true 24237 GTO. Built the second week of December 1966 with 223-b (Black) trim, R-2 Paint (Regimental Red with Black Vinyl top) with options including "E" tinted windows (all). It has been repainted with a brighter red color than original. This car is road and show ready. It can be driven and shown just as-is without any excuses. This car brings back the memories of a time gone past.
