1965 Pontiac Starchief |
| My brother salvaged this 1965 Pontiac Starchief from a junk yard in 1980, restored it, and has owned it ever since. It's a blue 4-door vista hardtop with a 1971 Pontiac 455 V8 engine, automatic transmission; power steering, power brakes, air conditioning, tilt steering, HEI electronic ignition, trunk light, two factory spare tire covers, and was repainted once in 1985. The front brake hoses have been replaced, wheel cylinders rebuilt, carpet replaced with factory type; original headliner and door panels. It has a strong-running engine, rebuilt in 1985, with very few miles on it. The rear window shelf is original and free of cracks. It has front and rear covers for the dash and rear window shelf; the front and rear bumpers have been replated; it has a spare power steering gear box, extra taillight lenses and seatbelts; has all emblems and trim pieces, original headlights (they still work); factory clock and map light over glove box, interior lights on each side with map lights, and factory remote mirror. The front seat and rear seat cushions have been replaced; the rear seat back cushion is original, and the rear back seat cushion is from a 1966 Pontiac Catalina. The front seat is from a 1966 Pontiac Star Chief Executive. SOLD |
