This auction is for a 1997 Pontiac Trams Am convertible. ONLY 40,000 original MILES!
This car is close to mint! White exterior & white power top with gray leather interior (no cracks). The top is like new with no rips, tears or leaks. It is equipped with a 5.7 liter engine with 285 horsepower and 325 pounds of torque. A performance chip has been installed for an extra 60 horsepower giving it a total of 345. It has been recently mechanic checked and passed with flying recommendations. Everything is power but the seats. The air conditioning blows ice cold. Factory CD player with newly installed kicker speakers. The sound is phenomonal. The gas mileage is around 17mpg in the city and 26mpg on the highway. There are no dents, dings or scratches. It also has new Firestone Firehawk tires. This vehicle has been babied. It was garage kept but recently has been stored under a carport with a cover over it. This Trans Am is spectacular; it runs great, looks great and turns a LOT of heads! And.......it is VERY FAST!!! This is the perfect warm climate "toy"! This is a SWEET car!
Now that the weather is warmer this car will be taken for an occasional drive so the mileage may vary slightly.
Since this is now 15 years old it is considered a classic car and is eligible for a "classic" license plate and "classic auto insurance". I was told this was one of 1500 made in that year. The car is being driven frequently so the mileage may vary slightly.
The only reason this car is being sold is because the owner was in a motorcycle accident and has difficulty getting in and out of the vehicle.
This vehicle is for pick up only. I will not ship it. The car is currently located in the New Port Richey, Florida area (zip code 34654). If you would like to see it before bidding you are more than welcome to come and look. If you will be flying from elsewhere to pick this up you will need to fly into Tampa and we will be happy to pick you up at the airport. There is a possibility that I can deliver this vehicle while it is in Florida for a nominal fee. After 5/25/12 we will be driving it back to our home town of Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, PA (zip code 18704). It will be available for pick up there after the auction closes.
