Do You want a WELL RESTORED CLASSIC? How about THIS TIMEPIECE, A RESTORED 1963 PORSCHE 356B Convertible. The VIN# is 157649. The car up for auction is a wonderful drive. The exterior of the car is spotless and is near show quality paint finish. The frame shows no signs of rust and is very solid. The floors have been professionally replaced. Included with this car is a Porsche technical manual, a drivers manual and a tool roll. We also have tons of receipts for when this car was first restored back in 1980 and ’81. There are receipts for $5000 alone in those two years. The previous owner also stated that from May of last year to January of this year the car underwent another restoration where it had all body panels removed, body stripped and everything painted. Also in this restoration the top was replaced along with the seats in leather and lots of chrome and new rubber. This restoration was said to cost over $12,000 in parts and labor but unfortunately we have no receipts to prove that.

The 356B was faster, quieter, prettier, and much more comfortable than its predecessor. The body was given a subtle face lift, there was more headroom, better synchromesh on the gear box, and finned aluminum brake drums to improve the 356's stopping ability. The motoring press was unanimous in their praise for the now civilized 356, with The Motor remarking, SOLD
