1982 Porsche 911 SC Targa

We are pleased to offer on behalf of one of our clients this highly original Porsche 911 SC Targa.

Finished in its original and rare exterior color of platin metallic over chocolate brown interior, this is a truly stunning example of the timeless and bullet-proof SC Targa.
This car is 100% original paint and has enjoyed only two owners from new, the last owning the car since 1985! The paint on the car is in great shape with still great shine and luster, but it does show a good amount of rock chips and scratches. The body is almost completely dent-free and has perfect factory gaps and shut lines. It would be a shame to even start thinking of painting a survivor like this.

The interior as well is almost completely original with the exception of carpets and seat covers. The dash is free of any cracks, but does show minor warping around the windshield edges. The folding Targa top is excellent.

Mechanically, the car is brilliant. It has only traveled 95k miles from new and has been maintained and serviced throughout its life with a thick folder of receipts going back into the early 80’s. Notably, over $ 20k was spent on the car during the past 3 years. Among the work included is a rebuild transmission, Carrera chain tensioners and pop off valve.

This is one of the best driving SC Targas we had. The car is very responsive and everything (including the clock) works as it should. Only the AC system is in need for service.

Sitting at just perfect ride height on 4 excellent Fuchs rims, the car comes equipped with all books and manuals, tool kit, spare jack and compressor. Fully documented 2 owner history, 100% original paint and only 95k miles makes this Targa an excellent choice for a drivable classic with wonderful curb appeal.
