1974 Porsche Carrera 2,7 Euro spec |
|
This is one of only 1023 Carrera 2.7 Coupes built with the famed RS (911-83 type) engine.
The car has been sold new in Europe and has been home in sunny and dry Italy for most of its life.
The car is a correct and # matching Carrera, serial number and engine number are matching according to the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity from Italy.
The odometer shows 91700km, which could be the original mileage, but we have no way of documenting that. The engine runs extremely strong, we recently had the MFI set up correctly by a Porsche specialist.
Overall a very nice, rustfree and straight car. The interior is in very nice shape, all correct instruments including the 300kp/h speedo only available for those ROW delivery cars.
The seats are vinyl with the rare corduroy inserts and in great shape.
This is a very fast and capable driver quality Carrera. Those cars are extremely rare in the US, they have never been sold officially in Northern America and should not be confused with the Carrera 2.7 in US specification.
These ROW Carreras are really true RS cars disguised as SCs. Top quality examples have been sold in the US as high as 140k US$.
