ROLLS-ROYCE SILVER-CLOUD III GOLD 1965 LSHS31 LCGL21
This 1965 Rolls-Royce has had only two owners, been driven just 32,377 miles and is one of only twenty-five left-handed drives that remain. This cherished automobile is in excellent condition: the original sand exterior has never been corroded or seriously damaged and the panel fit is exemplary. The original Beige Connolly hides have retained their contours and have never been dyed or trimmed. The interior cabin even still smells as it did some fifty years ago, when the automobile first came out on October 22 of 1965.
Vintage & Classic Group recently purchased this classic Rolls-Royce from the car´s second owner, a fastidious man who acquired the car from its first owner in late 1974 with only 28,996 miles. Since 1974, the automobile’s service record has been carefully maintained. After acquiring the car, Vintage & Classic Group performed important maintenance, including a complete reconstruction of the brakes and hydraulics system, replacement of the tires/ balanced wheel rims, and a careful inspection of the car´s electrical systems. In addition, the air conditioning (upgraded to R-314 Freon) and “New Yorker” radio are in working condition, as is the handbook, its supplements and complete set of small tools.
The performance and handling of this vehicle are astonishing. This 1965 classic is the finest original and unrestored model available, one of the select few that remain.
