A superbly maintained model of a true classic, this 1965 Rolls-Royce has only 29,443 miles. Thanks to the meticulous care and detailed service records provided by its third owner, Vintage & Classic Group can prove that the car has never been seriously damaged. Although slight over-polishing in the car´s early years warranted minimal refinishing, this Rolls-Royce is still one of the finest and unrestored models on the market today. Its carefully re-touched Shell grey lacquer is complimented by the original bluish grey Connolly hides, which have never been re-dyed. The wood veneers, which were never re-finished, are nicely painted and in excellent condition.
Although other models of the same car are available on the market today, they lack proper documentation of mileage and have likely been talked up for marketing purposes. Unlike some of the other models out there, our 1965 Silver Cloud III doesn´t come with any trumped-up stories. A true classic Rolls-Royce, like the one we proudly offer, comes with superb handling and drives smoothly. Classic cars of its caliber are increasingly difficult to find and are thus very sought after by knowledgeable enthusiasts and collectors. A car may be restored countless times, but it can only be original once. The one offered by Vintage & Classic Group, a real original, would be a perfect candidate for exhibition for the increasingly popular Post War Preservation Classes at major Concours events.
The 1965 Silver Cloud III comes with the original flashlight, tools,and owner’s manual, which is in mint condition and includes the chassis number and trim codes. This classic Rolls-Royce, which also has factory air-conditioning, is unlikely to require anything other than pure enjoyment for years to come.
