1997 Superformance Cobra with 427 Side Oiler and Tremec 5 Speed tranny. Superformance is a factory built car, imported from South Africa with no motor. It is probably the best replica available. This car has upgraded seats, 5 point harnesses, Smiths gauges, reverse speedometer, soft top, toneau cover, car cover, ceramic coated headers and side pipes, fully adjustable independent suspension and 4 wheel disc brakes.
The motor is a standard bore, 1968 427 Side Oiler, with steel crank, Lemans Rods, medium rise heads, tunnel wedge intake and 2 Holley 650s. The block had very little use and was almost perfect except for a scratch in two of the cylinders. 2 sleeves and $7500 worth of machine work later and this is as good an example of this rare motor that you will ever see.
This is a beautiful car and I have put over $20,000 in the motor alone.
