1964 SHELBY AC 289 FIA (bodied) COBRA Replica

The Cobra OFFERED here was built with the high-quality UNIQUE MOTORCARS FIA 289 fiberglass body (the deluxe pallet-kit) But was created to be a replica of the 289 modified-street COBRA.

It is offered with a pro-built FORD 351w Windsor motor and 335/350 BHP. GT40 iron heads, Holley, Edelbrock and all top-notch valvetrain weapons, Comp roller cam and lifters. A Tremec 5 speed, Jaguar IRS, Wilwood, 6 Carrera coil-over shocks, Halibrand, Raydot, Stewart Warner instrumentation to name a few of its components.

It runs and drives great. As a FIA 289 bodied car it HAS great potential for a proper Viking Blue paint job and the addition of the iconic 4 downdraft Weber carb set up. Add the white roundels w/number and you have a great COBRA REPLICA of the most race winning Cobra of all time the: 1964 SHELBY MKII 289 FIA COBRA.

As most replica Cobras are of the 427 body. This Cobra was created and built to be a modified-street-version model of Carroll Shelby's 1964 289 FIA racing Cobra. Shelby produced only (5) original FIA racing versions of his 289 Cobra.
