1963 Studebaker Avanti R1

Here is a rare 1963 Avanti. They built 3834 of these fiberglass gems in 1963. These cars were very uniquely designed and there has been nothing like it since. This Red one was ordered in late 1962 slated for a Southern California dealer. It is equipped with a rebuilt 289 V-8, 3-speed automatic transmission, rare A/C, and power front disc brakes. The interior has newer upholstery, carpets, headliner, and trunk and glovebox liner. There is also an original owners guide, production order, and documentation. A very original survivor with the exception of electronic ignition, electric fuel pump, and radio. This vehicle drives very well and would be a positive addition to a collection. SOLD
