1953 Studebaker Champion Coupe

1953 Studebaker Champion for sale

Stunning and unique 1953 Studebaker Champion Starlight Coupe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First of all my phone number is 828-754-9756 if you have questions! As you can see there have been some beautiful artistic upgrades incorporated into this rare futuristic creation of Mr. Robert Bourke! Discarded was the conventional '53 grill which to me looks like a Manta Ray sucking plankton anyway! It might be “ Original” and help you exceed 200 mph at Bonneville, but “ Yuk”! Instead the prestigious 1963 Studebaker Grand Tourismo Hawk hood & front grill assembly! Now I think I'm correct on the following, but rely on your own research to be certain!

The front side grills are '59 Silver Hawk, fenders & doors '63 GT Hawk, dash '57 Golden Hawk, and rear bumper '56 Golden Hawk, AND, everything all fitting together like it was designed that way without modification, cutting, drilling, welding, chopping, etc.! And also, all Studebaker!!! As if it were Bob Bourke on creative steroids !!! I only wish I could see the size of his eyes as he marvels down on this masterpiece!!!

She's powered by a beautifully running '62 Studebaker GT Hawk 289 ( no Chevy 350 in this Baby), coupled with Studebaker 4 speed floor shift tranny and dual traction rear end!

Less impacting but welcomed features include; new gas tank, fuel lines, fuel pump, brake lines & wheel cylinders and shocks! I consider the paint a good driver 7 footer, with show quality requiring a repaint, little scratches & imperfections here & there! It's not bubbling anywhere and there are no rust thrus or dents, so it appears the existing job was done professionally and could just be sanded & painted, which I am going to do myself if She does not sell quick! All the glass is good but the underside is dirty, but no structurally compromising rust! I, myself, would not hesitate taking off in this little Darling to parts unknown, which I very well may do, to see my Kids & Grandkids, again if She does not sell quick!!!

We all know about the torrent of scammers out there so call me at 828-754-9756, rather than email, ok??? Thanks!

Oh, I have more pictures and a couple videos, which I'll link here, but if they don't work call me and I'll email the links! http://s1172.photobucket.com/albums/r569/tomyach/http://s1172.photobucket.com/albums/r569/tomyach/
