This is a very original 1964 Studebaker Gran Turismo Hawk R1. Car always in the Bay Area. It is an R1 Gran Turismo Hawk which means it came from the factory with the R1 289 V8 Avanti engine. Other R1 options include a 160 speedometer, a tachometer, a floor shift automatic transmission and special R1 badges along the front fenders.
It runs and drives beautiful with no mechanical issues. It has dual exhaust and a four barrel carburetor. The original Strato Blue paint is still on the car and it does have some scratches on the hood and right front fender. Tires are the original bias ply tires. A true survivor. A very rare car. Minor interior work has been done. It has 74,000 original miles. I have the original production order which shows the correct body number and the matching engine number. Many boxes of extra parts and literature. It has the original CA black plates. Current registration and clear title in my name. I have owned it for the last 8 years and it has always been garaged. The previous owner was the original owner and he always kept it garaged. No rust at all on this car. Very solid body and chrome is excellent. $15,000
