Vehicle Description - 1953 Studebaker Starlite Hardtop
Stock # C-1004
Price -- 22,500
The 1953 Studebaker was ahead of its time in design and style. One of the most attractive American classics ever produced, with its sleek lines and low profile stance, it looks like it is flying when it's sitting still.
The car is a tribute to both excellent workmanship and preservation. It's obvious at a glance that someone spent a lot of money and time to create such a unique street rod.
The body is straight and slick, and the paint is very good with a lot of depth, as you can see in the pictures. The Stainless and chrome trim has been restored and it has new weather stripping. The Aluminum 5 spoke wheels just fit the look of the car.
Under the hood is a 350 C.I. Chevy engine with a mild cam and a turbo 400 transmission. The engine compartment is highly detailed with a chrome water pump and pulley, chrome valve covers and alternator bracket and polished aluminum breather. Aluminum intake and big aluminum radiator are among other parts. The engine compartment is very neatly done with not a wire or wire out of place.
The steering is rack and pinion with front disc and rear drum brakes.
Instead of the plain bench seat it came with, this Studebaker sports leather bucket seat that are fully adjustable. The leather covered console was custom made with stereo / CD player, 4 speakers, center arm rests, and runs the full length of the passenger compartment from under the dash through the backseat.
The vehicle is used or pre-owned. No Fees - Plus Sales Tax SOLD
