1968 Triumph TR250

I have a 1968 TR250 that needs some finishing. It is a running car but it needs to have the carbs rebuilt to be reliable on the road. This started to be a "father-son" project that has turned into a father only job and I'm getting too old for this stuff. The floor pans are original...rust free and solid. Every wheel arch is clean and sharp. The door gaps are nice and straight. The car is currently in primer. I even have the original Rostyle hub caps.
Here is what is new. Wood dash....dash cover....windshield rubber and windshield seal [not installed]...clutch and clutch hydraulics...brake master cylinder.......all rubber brake hoses....rear brake cylinders....rebuilt front calipers....U-joints....battery...windshield rubbers...hood bumpers...starter...some light lenses.
Here is a list of what it needs. Windshield glass....door and trunk rubbers. Driver's side door panel....trunk trim panels....paint [if you like]....a carpet kit. The bumpers are original and the chrome is "okay". The grill has a small ding in it. The original seats are here and need to be re-covered but I have installed new tan/brown leather seats out of a Chrysler product that look great and are very comfortable. Of course....there are things like the crash pads on the dash that could be improved and I would check out the wiring before taking it on a long trip. It does need a canvas top. There are extra parts including two sets of top bows.

I'm looking for a nice [driving] TR6 with chrome bumpers or other British sports cars that do not need any work.....for a possible trade. I want to be able to "get in it and go"! Please email photos and details of any car that you might like to trade. If you include your phone #, I will call you as soon as I can to give you the history on the car as I know it. If you don't have a possible trade.... I would sell it for cash.

Here is the current NADA classic car guide value for the car.
Retail Low...........$10,300
Retail Average... $21,500
Retail High.......... $37,800

I am open to reasonable offers. Due to the scammers out there...Please respond to this ad with TR250 for sale in the subject line and include your phone #. I will call you promptly. Thanks
