Overall, the car runs very well and is a lot of fun to drive. All the gauges work and it achieves sustained freeway speeds (70mph+) with no problems. It shifts smoothly and handles well.
I have owned the car for 18 months and I've done the following repairs during that time:
-New clutch (Borg & Beck), clutch hydraulics, and resurfaced flywheel
-New brake master cylinder
-New rear brake shoes
-Four new tires (Uniroyal Tigerpaw)
-New battery
-Pertronix electronic ignition
-New spark plugs and wires
-Cleaned carbs and replaced diaphragms
-Running Mobil One 0W/40 oil
There are some areas with rust (see photos) or worn paint. The dash requires repair and the top has two holes in it. Also, there is a crack in the exhaust manifold and the reverse gear is showing signs of wear (slipping out of gear occassionally). There is no radio in the car, and the speaker panels are new replacements with no speaker holes in them. For the right buyer, this car is definitely worth restoring as it is mostly original, as far as I can tell.
