1974 Triumph ---- J type overdrive---- everything works

Factory hard top

Almost everything all new or rebuilt

This beautiful vehicle is close to a show car. The engine is rebuilt having 80 pounds oil pressure at idle and does not leak. The later improved J type overdrive transmission works great. Two new Su carburetors.
Dress up valve cover. Alternator and starter and distributor are new. Radiator is new. Newer battery Beautiful new tan upholstery and black carpets. Everything works except odometer mileage (speedometer works) Front brake items are new. Front axle parts either new or excellent . The car steers quite well. All window glass is very good. Chrome bumpers are good but not perfect. There are no dents or flaws in the body. Windows roll up and down like they should. You will not find any rust . No smog inspection required since is prior to 1975. Restoration was over a 12 year period at a cost in excess of $30,000.00 spent by four different owners. Even the trunk looks good inside which hides a spare tire. fRAM

The right front tire has a slow leak. The frame has a crack behind the right front wheel and a crack in the cross member as well. The body shop indicated they could weld the cracks but I did not want to do it. The car is drivable but I do not feel it is safe to do so until the frame and rear axle assembly are repaired. So no road test will be allowed for liability reasons.
