| I purchased this car on ebay about 8 years ago in Ohio. It has a salvage title but I can not find any evidence of any major damage. It has a relatively new crate engine (less than 2,000 miles) and I recently replace the carburetor with a Brazilian Boca with the electronic choke. It has new door panels, seat covers, tires, and the glass rear window. The top is in good condition and does not leak. The car has a little rust over the passenger rear tire well and on the jack cover on the driver side. Pans are good. The car runs great and can be driven anywhere. When I purchased it, I drove it 200 miles home at 70 miles per hour. The best thing I can say about this car is that it is complete and for the most part original. No incorrect seats, wheels, etc. Many of the Ghias for sale are very incorrect and that detracts from resale value. This car is a great candidate for a full restoration. |
