If you are looking for a fun car then MotoeXotica has the car for you. This restored 1969 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia convertible is in fabulous condition and has just had a new custom interior put in. When you pop the trunk you’ll find the 1600CC engine in great condition. It has no signs of rust in the engine compartment and it runs great.

Outside this car has been repainted red, which is in fantastic overall condition with a wonderful shine and luster. The chrome front and rear bumpers are in great shape and show no major pitting. The new convertible top is in great condition but does have the original liner inside which is showing some age.

Inside this car is virtually spotless with no stains or tears to the seats. The entire interior has been custom done and it looks fabulous. The door panels and seats are both recovered in red and black vinyl that is in great condition. The aftermarket AM/FM tape radio works fine as do the lights, blinkers and wipers.

This little four-speed VW starts up every time with no hesitation or smoking and runs great. Clutch is smooth and brakes as it should. The aftermarket wheels look great and are in very good condition. They are wrapped with 135 R15 radials in front and 165 R15’s in the rear.

The undercarriage of the car is clean but does show some rot on the drivers side floor board. There is also some minor rust on the front passenger side floorboard (see photo). The front trunk includes a original style full size spare and jack.

This is a rare model to find in such wonderful condition throughout. Use it for weekend fun or shows or even as a daily driver. You are sure to get a thumbs up and a huge smile where ever you go. On the road the car operates with ease. It has plenty of power, shifts smoothly and brakes without pulling. Motor runs strong without any smoking or sputtering.

Mileage is showing 94,439 and is believed to be original but is being sold with mileage exempt because of its 34 years of age.
