1973  Volkswagen  Super Beetle  formula vee

You are looking at a totally restored 1973 VW Super.It has the Formula Vee emblems that are part of a dealer option package that was only available a couple years.I found the bug in a barn in Newtown CT. as part of an estate sale.This car had not been driven since 1978.I have pictures of it sitting in the barn. The engine is rebuilt completely with the following NEW PARTS heads,cam,crank,cylinders,pistons,rods,carb,heater boxes,muffler,valve covers and obviously seals ,fuel pump,filter new clutch pressure plate throw-out bearing and a resurfaced flywheel. The fuel tank ,sending unit and lines have all been replaced.The front end is all rebuilt and both rear drive axles are new.The brakes have all new shoes,springs, wheel cylinders,master cylinder and lines,The interior is factory fresh with covers,carpets,new seat padding,headliner,flat shifter with close throw pattern,pioneer 4 speaker cd with front kick plate mounted speakers. The exterior is fresh with Acrylic orange clear coat from Kirker.It has all new chrome,bumpers,window seals and window wipers.running boards.The windshield is new all other glass original in excellent shape.This is definitly a NEED TO SEE CAR for someone looking for a mint ride.The restore probably has 20 miles since complete and it is currently stored in a heated garage. 203-482-0122 NO REASONABLE OFFER REFUSED SOLD
