1990 Volvo 240 4-Door wagon. 119K miles.
Gently-used Volvo 245 Station Wagon in great condition with low miles. Automatic transmission, non-turbo. Solid body, runs and drives well, recently serviced.
Bought new at Segna Volvo Westerville (now MAG?) and serviced there for 10+ years. Then it was not driven much by the elderly owners. A dealer bought it from the estate in 2011 and went through the car: tires, fuel pumps (main and in-tank), fuel filter, brakes, calipers, heater fan, timing belt, plugs & wires, cam seal, water pump, more. It's had additional work since then. We have some receipts.
Body: virtually rust-free. There's some scale in the bottom curve of the each rear wheel well. All of the Volvo body trouble areas are clean and solid: rockers, front fenders, strut towers, wheel wells, floors/underbody. The tailgate is clean and rust-free under the lip and around the glass. Original owners used the car at their Winter home in the South. The roof and hood are faded and spotted from the sun. The paint has light scratches and swirls.
Options/accessories: Volvo Corona wheels, factory third seat, roof rack, cruise-control, power windows, center armrest with slide-out cup holders, Volvo deep snow mats - front and rear. Factory AM-FM/cassette works OK; a Pioneer CD-player comes with the car (uninstalled)
Interior is nice. Passenger seat bottom has cracks. A fleece full-seat cover in included but not on the seat.
Mechanically excellent: runs and drives well; no oil or other fluid leaks; starts easily and reliably. There are some squeaks & rattles. Lights, signals, wipers & washers, gauges all work. Cruise control doesn't always hold speed. The AC compressor engages but don't think the air is very cold. Taillight lenses have some crazing. 195x70 R14 (correct size for a 240 wagon) Goodyear Viva2 tires.
