1933 Willys Street Rod |
This neat streetrod belonged to a now deceased NSRA member "Mr. Willys" Gary Meyers of Newark Ohio. As his handle indicates he was the owner of several Willys Streetrods all at one time. Information we received with the car is covered by a brief overview here: Engine: 355 Chevy 4 bolt main block, TRW pistons, pink rods, 292 Comp Cam, Isky valve springs, Crane lifters, Ported 2.02 heads, Accel Distributer, Edelbrock intake and 2 600 Holleys. Trans: Powerglide with shift kit, Custom pan and ATI 4800 Stall Convertor. Rear End: Franklin Quick Change with 3 sets of gears: 4:86 to 1; 3:59 to 1; 3:42 to 1. Chassis: 3x2 square tubing, narrowed Corvair IFS front end, narrowed Pinto rack, Koni coil over rear shocks, stainless steel ladder bars and stabilizer, Weld wheels. Interior: Mercedes Benz seats, Stewart Warner guages, Ron Francis wiring, tinted saftey glass, chrome steering column, Mr. Gasket V-Matic shifter and AM-FM-CD radio. Body: Jenkins & Powell ENT with Volkswagon yellow finish, Candy Blue, Tangerine and Cherry graphics. Light blue pinstriping. One very fast and kool '33 Willys and it is streetable. Impress the neighbors!!
